About ADA Checkup and RankFlow Systems

Who is behind this
ADA Checkup is a project of RankFlow Systems LLC. RankFlow Systems builds websites and runs search visibility and automation for businesses. We made this checker because many owners and local government staff have heard that website accessibility matters, but have no quick, honest way to see where they stand.
How we think about accessibility
- We tell you what a scan can and cannot show. We do not sell fear.
- We do not claim a site is compliant, certified, or protected from lawsuits. Nobody can promise that from a scan.
- We recommend a redesign only when fixing the current site would not make sense.
- We fix problems in the real code of the site, not with a widget painted over it.
How the scanner works
Your page is fetched from the public internet and checked with axe-core, an open source accessibility testing engine. The scan reads the page as it is first delivered. It does not measure color contrast and does not run your page scripts. Results are shown exactly as the engine reports them, with plain English explanations added by us.
